Cristina de Lasa, MD, CCFP (COE), FCFP is a Family Physician with a Certificate of Added Competence in Care of the Elderly and a Fellowship Designation with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Cristina obtained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University, a Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Ottawa and Certification in Family Medicine at McMaster University. Cristina is a Hospitalist and Medical Head in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Cristina is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is presently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Quality and Safety at Harvard Medical School. She is presently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Quality and Safety at Harvard Medical School. Cristina wishes to work creatively within the existing healthcare system to provide comprehensive integrated primary care to persons with severe mental illness aiming for best possible health outcomes. Cristina’s interests include medical education, physician wellness and integrated care for persons with severe mental illness.
