Session Description: 

Dr. Bodley will present his past and current work on reducing unnecessary blood testing in the ICU. Attendees will gain insight into how QI methods can move forward the climate agenda, and learn strategies to measure the environmental co-benefit of QI interventions.

Speaker Biography: 

Thomas Bodley, MD MSc FRCPC

Tom Bodley is a Critical Care physician and the Medical Quality Lead for Critical Care at the Scarborough Health Network. He has advanced training in both Quality Improvement and Clinical Epidemiology from the Institute for Health Policy Management and Evaluation. Tom is also the acting co-director of the Using Labs Wisely national program at Choosing Wisely Canada and part of the Canadian Critical Care Society Climate Action Committee.
