Speaker bio
Dr. Husein Moloo is the prior vice chair of QI and patient safety (QIPS) for the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. This led to learning about the natural intersection of QIPS with Planetary Health. He now serves as the Director (interim) of Planetary Health for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Clinician Educator in Planetary Health with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, on the faculty advisory board of the Planetary Health Report Card, the Canadian representative on the perioperative net zero strategy led by the United Kingdom, Environmental Group member for Choosing Wisely Canada, and will be co-chairing the Expert Working Group in Planetary Health for CANMEDS 2025.
