CQuIPS has delivered the QI Fundamentals workshop to hundreds of healthcare professionals as part of our commitment to organizational QI development. This training opportunity is delivered over two half-day sessions separated by several weeks to allow participants to apply concepts and receive feedback. It provides attendees with an overview of the core quality improvement (QI) knowledge and skills needed to lead small-scale improvement projects and contribute to teams leading organizational QI initiatives.

These 90-minute interactive sessions are focused on a topic relevant to individuals and teams doing QI work. Primers are an ideal refresher for people familiar with QI concepts and can also serve as a bite-sized introduction to core QI topics for those new to the field.
